Wonder Türkiye Vertical Water International Canyoning Meeting 2024
The geographical area of Saklikent, in Mediterranean Turkey, will host the second international canyoning meeting, scheduled from 6 to 13 April 2024.
“Wonder Türkiye” is organized by the Vertical Water team, an amateur sports association, in collaboration with Istanbul Canyoning Team (ICT) and includes eight days of Canyoning, but not only!
Like last year, the spirit of the gathering remains Wild, so don’t expect large hotels or luxury services, but a characteristic rural environment that will take you on a real journey through time, rediscovering distant but decidedly folkloristic habits and customs.
This area is surrounded by wonderful mountains, in which beautiful canyons chiseled in limestone and granite outcrops are hidden, and offers the possibility of discovering fantastic landscape views even to those who do not practice canyoning or simply want to diversify their outdoor activities.

WHERE AND WHEN
The meeting will take place from Saturday 6 April to Saturday 13 April 2024 in the area of Saklıkent National Park (in Turkish Saklıkent Millî Parkı</ span>) in the Mediterranean Sea region of Turkey within the borders of Seydikemer District of Muğla Province
The Park is also known as Saklıkent Canyon as it arises from the canyon formed by the Karacay stream, which determines the border between the provinces of Antalya and Muğla until it flows into the Eşen river.
The focus of the gathering is at the The XanyoN Camping, where you can park campers and vans or place tents and where the secretariat will be and where the scheduled evening collateral activities will take place.

To reach the meeting area we recommend landing at Antalya International Airport. From there you can rent a car, a 4×4 is not necessary, which will allow you to reach the Sakliken area in about 3 hours of travel.

Meat and vegetable barbecue to get to know each other better (8.00 pm)
- 04/08/24: 3rd day of canyoning (8.00 am – 11.00 am / 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm secretariat opening hours)
Vertical Water Project: 12 years of adventures (presentation and video at 9.30 pm)
- 04/09/24: 4th day of canyoning (8.00 am – 11.00 am / 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm secretariat opening hours)
ICT project and history of canyoning in Türkiye (8.00 pm)
- 04/10/24: 5th day of canyoning (8.00 am – 11.00 am / 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm secretariat opening hours)

REGISTRATION AND RATES
To facilitate the organization of the meeting we have thought of a registration divided into cost brackets which increase as the start date of the Gathering approaches: those who register first spend less and help the organizational staff to offer a better service
First period: from 1/1/2024 to 01/31/2024

- VW or ICT or ASC partners: € 30
- non canyoneer: € 30
Second period: from 1/2/2024 to 29/2/2024
- canyoners: € 60
- VW or ICT or ASC partners: € 40
- non canyoneer: € 30
Third period: from 1/3/2024 to 06/04/2024
- canyoners: € 70
- VW or ICT or ASC partners: € 50

The registration fee includes:
- Access to meeting areas

ACCOMMODATION
We will be guests of The XanyoN Camping. The cost of camping is excluded from registration and is €5 per day per person regardless of the type of accommodation (camper, van, tent, hammock etc etc.).
The cost of camping will be paid in advance at the check-in of the meeting at the secretariat.
